Long range planning involves carrying out long range strategic planning to ensure that Town’s infrastructure (e.g. sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, roads and sidewalks) are constructed for present needs and future growth. It also involves investigating and implementing new construction methods and innovative ideas, such as the Town’s planned geo-thermal project in the Upper Gibsons area.
