The Town of Gibsons Public Works Department is responsible to maintain and repair all roads, lanes and sidewalks (including, line painting, street sweeping, etc.)
This includes:
29.3 kms paved road
1.9 kms unpaved road
15.3 kms hard surfaced sidewalk
1.7 kms gravel surfaced sidewalk
Ornamental street lighting
Street signage

If a road or sidewalk is in need of repair please fill out a Request for Service Form or call the Town Hall at 604.886.2274 and we will investigate the request and make the necessary repairs.

Street Lights
The Town of Gibsons takes all calls for street light repair and/or maintenance, however, the Town is only responsible for the metal poles. The wooden poles with street lights are owned and maintained by BC Hydro. We will contact BC Hydro on your behalf with the complaint, then it is up to them to make the necessary repairs/replacements.
