The Town of Gibsons Subdivision and Development Servicing and Stormwater Management Bylaw
requires improvements, such as sidewalks, streetlights, and curbing as a condition of subdivisions or rezoning. The Engineering Department will provide the developer's engineering consultant with as-built plans, contour maps, design specifications and standards, and survey information to assist with the design of the proposed servicing.
Later, staff will review the developer's designs and cost estimates for these services for compliance with the Town’s requirements and standards. The Engineering Department will complete calculations for the necessary fees and will inspect the works as they are constructed to ensure that they meet proper construction standards and Town bylaws.
