The Parks and Cultural Services Department contributes to the quality of life and personal wellness of the community through the provision of a variety of special events, programs, services and facilities.

To preserve the turf, the playing fields at Brothers Park are closed during extremely wet conditions.

Park Bookings for Events

Community based, not for profit organizations provide a significant proportion of the social, cultural and recreational pursuits within Gibsons.  The Parks and Cultural Services Department provides support and assistance to these organizations as needed.
