ALL WATER ZONES RETURN TO STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTIONS, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
Current Water Use Restrictions for ALL water zones in the Town:
Please be advised that all water zones in the Town of Gibsons have returned to Stage 1 outdoor water use restrictions for all households and businesses, effective immedidately and until further notice.
The recent rains have replenished the reservoirs to support Stage 1 restrictions. Outdoor water use restrictions will continue until Chapman Lake is fully replenished.
Thank you for your continued efforts to conserve water through the summer and fall.
Sprinklers, soaker hoses, irrigation systems and other watering devices can now be used for outdoor watering according to the Stage 1 schedule below:
Do you have an irrigation system?
Please update your controls to the new times for your address. Rain sensors are required on all systems to prevent watering in the rain.
EXEMPTIONS: Micro and drip irrigation systems are water conserving technologies that are exempt from Water Use Restrictions until Stage 4. Micro and drip irrigation systems are those which consume less than 20 gallons per hour and operate at 25 psi or less.
The following table outlines the restrictions at each stage. Stage one is automatically implemented on May 1st and ends on September 30th. Depending on conditions Stage 2, 3 or 4 may be implemented. Check back for updates.
HINT: Did you know that if you hold down your control "Ctrl" button and the plus + sign you can zoom in on this or any other webpage?
